It is true that there were some violent land disputes between the Kyrgyz and Uzbeks in the city of Osh in but that was 30 years ago. This dispute has not targeted or harmed any tourist in Kyrgyzstan. It was a rare and isolated occurrence and the situation was resolved rather quickly.
